The company also plans to start a second manufacturing site. Rittal India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Germany based Rittal GmbH & Co. KG, an enclosure manufacturer. The Ђ2 billion company on Thursday inaugurated a new office section of 6,800 square feet at its existing manufacturing plant at Dodddaballapur near Bangalore. It has a seating capacity for 75 people.Sales & exportsThe company has reported sales worth Ђ50 million in India over the last ten years. Rittal employs over 600 in India. The plant in India also exports to Rittal subsidiaries in Asia and West Asia. It has three warehouses located at Chennai, Faridabad and Pune, 13 marketing offices, and ten distributors located across all the major cities.
